REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These terms govern your attendance at and participation in any event owned and/or operated by the organiser. By completing the registration you are warranting that you are aware of these terms and that you have accepted these terms. Tickets are subject to availability and may close earlier than the posted deadline, as determined by the organiser's sole discretion.

  • 1. Registration Confirmation: to register for the event, you must complete the registration process and pay the registration fee. Once your payment is received, you will receive your registration confirmation by email. Please ensure your valid email is entered correctly on the registration form. Be sure to check your junk email box in case any of your email(s) are caught by spam filters. You bear the risk of loss, theft, misappropriation or damage of the ticket after sending you the confirmation e-mail, and are therefore advised to save the confirmation e-mail carefully. By registering and accepting any discounts, gifts, or items of value related to the event (including free or discounted attendance), you certify that you are able to do so in compliance with applicable laws and the internal rules of your organization.
  • 2. Registrant Information: all GIDS attendees must be registered on the registration site. All information entered into the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. All information must be entered in English. You are responsible for choosing to submit a registration form and the organiser is not liable for any errors in submission, payment, or ticket processing.
  • 3. Communication Address: all payments are to be made in favor of 'Saltmarch Media (India) Pvt. Ltd.'   • 4. Payment Terms: in order to qualify for any discounted rate, full and clear payment must be received before the deadline date. Payment for Hatching Bird Pass must be received by 23 December 2019. Payment for all Early Bird Passes must be received by 24 February 2021. For all Standard Passes, payment must be received prior to the event. At the event venue, only payments via cash or credit card (online) will be accepted. Prices for each event, where applicable, are correct at the time of publication; the organiser reserves the right to change the prices at any time but such changes will not affect registrations that are already confirmed.
  • 5. Payment Linked Confirmation: your registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full. If payment in full is not received before the event, the organiser reserves the right at its sole discretion and without liability either to require payment as a condition of entry to the event or to refuse entry to the event; no refunds of any proportion of fees already paid (if any) will be made and any balance of the fees will remain due and payable where entry to an event is refused.
  • 6. Payment Method: all payment must be made in Indian Rupees. Four types of fee payment are accepted: credit/debit card payments, bank wire transfer, cheque and demand draft. DD/cheques should be made in favor of 'Saltmarch Media (India) Pvt. Ltd' payable at Bangalore. If you wish to pay by purchase order (PO), fill this form for further assistance. When choosing to pay by check or by way of PO, you will need to supply a date that we should expect the check. Full and clear payment is required before the event. You represent and warrant that you and your financial institution(s) used to fund any fees required for the event are not subject to sanctions or otherwise designated on any list of prohibited or restricted parties, or owned or controlled by such a party.
  • 7. Invoice & Payment: if you need an invoice with GST details, choose "Need tax invoice" under the Payment Method option when you make your payment via the online registration portal (Townscript, Explara). An administration fee of 800 INR + GST will be added to the invoice. Invoices are processed manually and will be sent to the buyers e-mail address within 15-20 working days. For offline payments, invoice requests have to be received no later than 4 weeks prior to the event to allow time for processing and payment. All invoices have to be paid in full before the event in order for the delegate to receive a badge and be allowed into the event. Tickets purchased during the last 4 weeks before the event have to be made via the online registration portal (Townscript, Explara).
  • 8. Cancellation: registrations to the summit have a strict no cancellation policy. If you are unsure of your availability for the event, we advise you to not register until you are able to block the date in your calendar. Confirmed attendees who do not attend are liable for the entire fee. No-show registrations will not be refunded. Unpaid cancellations for the event will be billed for the appropriate fee. Kindly note no refund will be made and the organiser is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a transfer, substitution, alteration and/or cancellation/postponement of an event. Any fees incurred by cancellations of related commitments, including but not limited to travel and hotel reservations, are not the organiser's responsibility. The organiser assumes no liability whatsoever if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to fortuitous event/force majeure circumstances/unforeseen occurrence or any other event beyond the control of the organiser that renders performance of the event impracticable, illegal or impossible. The organiser's decision in this regard is final and binding.
  • 9. Registration Substitution: all substitution requests must be received by email [in writing] before 1600 Hrs, 10 April (cc: inbound@developersummit.com). Substitutions will not be accepted after the deadline. Registration substitutions are permitted only between employees from the same company and of the same registration type. Tickets may not be sold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any other way and doing so may result in rendering the ticket null and void without any responsibility to the organiser.
  • 10. Corporate (Group) Registration: (1) all group registrants must be employed by the same company (2) payment for group registration must be made on a single invoice.
  • 11. Third party & group Registration: if you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you are authorized by that person to make the booking, and that the person has confirmed their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. You acknowledge and agree that both you and the person for whom you are making the booking will be bound by the payment and attendance terms and conditions mentioned herein. You also acknowledge and agree to provide details of the delegates in the required format as requested by the event. The organiser is not liable for the consequences or damages directly or indirectly ensuing from incorrect, misleading, imprecise or incomplete information either contained in the registration form or based on any other details furnished by a partner/participant; the organiser reserves the right to refuse to consider inadequately or not fully completed registration forms or registration forms submitted later than the date specified. The organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel tickets, registrations, or orders and to limit order quantity.
  • 12. Visa Requirement: it is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of any government visa requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa should allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. The organiser will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants or provide any other assistance relating to visa issues. Failure to obtain a visa in advance of the event does not constitute a valid basis for obtaining a refund.
  • 13. Data Use: you will receive essential information for registered attendees electronically at the email address and mailing address provided on your registration form. Some of the information entered (such as name and company), will be displayed on the attendee badge. All registration and attendee information you provide for the event will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Statement, which can be found here. All registrants agree to allow the organiser to contact them regarding their registration, attendance at the event and allow the organiser to send email communications regarding the event. You will also be added to the attendee list for notifications of future events. Registrant contact information may be shared and used by the organiser, or sponsors or exhibitors at the show, according to its own privacy and others' policies.
  • 14. Admittance at Event Venue and Badges: for check-in please carry a print of the payment receipt and registration number for the event, and your name & photo ID (government issued license, passport, or other forms of identification; copies will not be accepted). Please make sure to register using the name that matches the government-issued photo ID you will be presenting when you check in to the venue. If you do not have proper identification, you won't be able to receive a badge and will not be admitted into the event. Once the badge is handed over on site, it cannot be changed, sold, substituted, shared, transferred, reissued, bartered, given or otherwise provided to a different person. Doing so may result in event staff rendering the ticket null and void without any responsibility to the organiser. Badges may contain NFC or other RFID technologies to help us serve attendees, determine participation in various sessions and activities, and connect you with sponsors or exhibitors. The organiser is not responsible for any badges or property that are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed at the event. Your badge may be invalidated by the organiser if any portion has been removed, altered or defaced, or the organiser suspects that you have altered your badge in any way. If an attendee badge is lost, a replacement will only be issued at the current on site rate ('at-the-door' pricing).
  • 15. Intellectual Property: the possession of a confirmed ticket, badge or admission to an event does not grant you permission to use any intellectual property, including logo, website, trademark or any other proprietary right of the event or any third party, such as other guests or speakers at the event.
  • 16. Restricted Event Access: attendees (including delegates, exhibitors, booth staff, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and speakers) are not permitted to bring guests to the conference or related events. If you have someone traveling with you, they will need to register themselves and purchase an attendee ticket. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend the event. No one under this age, including children in strollers accompanying their parents, will be admitted. Attendance is not allowed by residents of embargoed countries, individuals ordinarily residing in embargoed countries, or individuals otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls, visa restrictions and sanctions programs.
  • 17. Film and Video Consent: for promotional purposes, the organiser hires photographers and videographers to document the event. This material may include attendees' voice, image or likeness. You agree the organiser may use, reproduce, distribute, alter, prepare derivative works of, display, perform, or otherwise exploit such photographs, audio and/or video, including those that may contain your voice, image or likeness, for any purpose on a worldwide basis in perpetuity, without any compensation to you or further approval, and you release the organiser from all liability related thereto.
  • 18. Program Content: all views expressed by speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, and information they share are their own. The organisers do not accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by anyone at the show or in any material provided to delegates. All intellectual property rights in and to the summit, the event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the show are owned by the organiser, or the sponsors/exhibitors or speakers presenting at the show. Attendees may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any intellectual property, trademarks or other trade names appearing at the event, in any event content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the event for any reason without the prior written permission of the organiser. Accordingly, any and all information provided to you is solely for information only, and is not a commitment to deliver any material, code, or functionality and should not be relied upon in making purchasing decisions. The development, release, and timing of any features described remains at the sole discretion of the presenter (including speaker/sponsor/exhibitor). You are cautioned not to place undue reliance on these forward-looking statements, which reflect opinions only as of the date they are made. Please keep in mind that the presenter is not obligating itself to revise or publicly release the results of any revision to these forward-looking statements in light of new information or future events.
  • 19. Program Revision: all speakers/sessions are published on the event web site following written confirmation/acceptance from the respective speaker(s). While the organiser will make all reasonable efforts to ensure speaker appearance at the show, the organiser cannot guarantee the appearance of all published speakers owing to reasons beyond the organiser's control and the organiser accepts no liability for these, and neither party, nor any representative shall be liable for any payment and/or refunds. It may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances to alter the content, timing, speakers or venue. The organiser reserves the right at any time to postpone, change the format, alter, add, substitute, cancel sessions or modify the advertised program and, if necessary, participants, content, location and timing of the event or any other aspect of the event, without prior notice, in each case without liability for any reason whether or not due to causes beyond its reasonable control. The organiser accepts no liability in respect of any loss of enjoyment, wasted expenditures or damage, whether direct, consequential or otherwise arising from any delay in providing the event or change of venue.   • 20. Websites and Links: the event and associated sites may link to other sites and networking tools, the content for which are maintained by their owners, for which the organiser takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any site linking to the summit web site.
  • 21. Onsite Conduct: at all event venues and event-related social events attendees are expected to help keep the event welcoming, respectful and friendly to all participants. Any form of written, social media or verbal communication that can be offensive or harassing to any attendee, speaker or staff will not be tolerated. Attendees must comply with the instructions of the crew and venue staff at all times when attending the event. They must comply with all event signs and notices while at the venue. If a participant (including delegates, exhibitors, booth staff, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and speakers) engages in harassing behavior, the organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.
  • 22. Restricted Photography, No Videography, Filming, Live Streaming and Social Media: attendees are encouraged to share their event experiences through social media. Photographs may be taken by participants within the event venue's public areas, such as lobbies and corridors and meeting rooms, provided that such activities do not disrupt the activities or movements of participants or the security provisions of that area. Attendees may take pictures within the show for purposes of company reports or internal company media materials. Filming (video, audio or any other recording) or broadcasting will be deemed a breach of copyright. You are not permitted to take professional photographic or video equipment or wearable recording devices into the event venues. In addition, you may not use selfie sticks or similar monopods, drones, or transport devices not medically required within the event venue. Any attendee conducting these activities may be removed from the event premises.
  • 23. Visible wearing of Badge, Security Requisite: all attendees must have a badge and badge holder visible on their person at all times. If requested by event staff or security, attendees may be required to provide additional identification. Both the badge and badge holder are required for entry at all event venues and both will incur a replacement fee if a duplicate of either is requested. Lost, misplaced, stolen, or forgotten badges will incur a replacement fee equal to the original purchase amount of your pass. All event badges are the property of the organiser and must be returned upon request. Event registration is non-transferable on site; registration badges are only valid for the named individual on the badge. Attendees wearing badges from previous events or falsified badges and/or sharing or swapping badges will be immediately expelled from the event and banned from future events. The organiser considers such conduct theft of service, trespassing, and fraud and will report violators to law enforcement authorities. If such conduct is discovered after an event, violators will be invoiced according to onsite registration pricing and will be required to pay their invoice in full in order to avoid being reported to law enforcement authorities.
  • 24. Safety Requirement: as a security measure, the organiser may be randomly checking bags onsite for the event. No bags or property should be left unattended at any time. Unattended property may be removed. Attendees should not leave the designated event areas except in the case of an emergency evacuation. All purchases from traders or exhibitors are direct transactions between the seller and attendee; the organiser accepts no liability for any merchandise, foodstuffs or other items purchased at the event. Attendees may not connect to or otherwise interfere with the venue's electrical sockets or data network except in authorized areas. The organiser reserves the right to revoke attendance at any time; serious breaches of event policy will result in those involved being asked to leave the event and no refund will be given. The organiser reserves the right to take any security measures it deems appropriate to increase the safety of attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors, without prior notice. The organiser reserves the right to change the policies set forth herein, without prior notice, and has sole discretion to deny entry to anyone.
  • 25. Physical Activities and Participant Consent: by participating in physical activities at the event (such as group games, brisk walking) you certify that you are in good health and are physically capable to proceed with any intense physical activity and that you have no impediment that would endanger you while participating. You understand that any physical activity involves a risk of injury, and, by choosing to participate, you volunteer to do so with full understanding of the dangers involved and assume all risks which may be associated with and/or result from your participation in such physical activities. You agree not to participate if you are ill or unwell. Should you feel unwell or uncomfortable during the physical activity, it is your responsibility to stop. You voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the organiser, its employees, representatives, agents, directors, officers, and any of its third-party providers from all liability, claims, or actions for any losses, injuries, or damages suffered by you as a result of participation in physical activities while at the event. This release or waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature, whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown, arising out of or related to the physical activity at the event site.
  • 26. Insurance: the organiser is not liable for any loss, liability or damage to attendee property or person while, prior to, on location or in transit to or from the event. Participants may arrange for appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the event.
  • 27. Ethics, Non-Compliant Business Practices, No soliciting: the organiser reserves the right to deny admission to anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant business practices, including soliciting business or selling of items or services to other attendees, speakers and exhibitors. For the good of sponsors supporting the show, the only legitimate place to conduct business during event hours is within a contracted exhibit space on the event floor. Exhibiting/sponsoring companies are encouraged to protect their investment and report any violations to the organiser. Attendees observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or in another company's booth, or distributing publicity materials during the event anywhere within the vicinity of the event or anywhere else within the event venue, will be ejected from the event and may be banned from future events based on the organiser's sole discretion.
  • 28. Conflict of Interest: you certify that you have confirmed with an appropriate ethics official that there are no federal, state, local, or institutional ethics or procurement laws, regulations, or rules that restrict or prohibit your attendance at the event or would otherwise create a conflict of interest for the organiser. The organiser has full rights to disallow entry of attendees who might be found to have a potential conflict of interest with the organiser's business. The decision by the organiser in this regard is final and binding. If you or your organization's profile is competitive in nature to the organiser's businesses, please refrain from registering for the show. No claims for refund will be entertained.
  • 29. Exclusion of Liability: you agree to be solely responsible for your own safety, belongings, and well-being while participating in the event. The organiser excludes all liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property at the event. All indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions (whether express or implied) are excluded. The organiser accepts no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever that you may suffer in connection with or arising from the event whether direct, indirect or consequential (including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business or any other type of economic loss) or otherwise. You (for yourself, your heirs, dependents, personal representatives, assigns, and anyone else who might make a claim on your behalf or as a result of your death or injury) hereby release the organiser and its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, damages, losses, debts, liabilities, costs and expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) that you may have now or in the future associated in any way with the event or the items. You acknowledge and agree that your attendance and participation in the event is voluntary, and you understand the nature of the event. You voluntarily assume all risk and danger incidental to attending the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the event, and the organiser is not liable for any resulting harm, including death, personal injury, loss, damage or any other liability. The organiser has no liability to attendees and hereby disclaims any and all warranties of any kind, express or implied for the event. Admission to the event may also be subject to additional conditions of admission to the venues used for conference events. In the event the organiser is liable to you for any reason, its total liability to you in relation to the event (whether under these terms or conditions or otherwise) is limited to the amount of the registration fee paid by you for the event only.
  • 30. General: all terms and conditions (t&c), and any disputes arising out of or related hereto, shall be governed exclusively by the internal laws of the state in the country in which the organiser's company is head quartered and controlling law in said country, without regard to their conflicts of laws rules or the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods. The said state has exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising out of or relating to these t&c. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waive any right to jury trial in connection with any action or litigation in any way arising out of or related to these t&c. You agree to the applicable governing law above without regard to choice or conflicts of law rules, and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts. These t&c and the activities governed hereby, do not create a partnership, franchise, joint venture, agency, fiduciary or employment relationship between the parties. There are no third-party beneficiaries to these t&c. No failure or delay by either party in exercising any right under these t&c shall constitute a waiver of that right. If any provision in these t&c is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, the provision shall be modified by the court and interpreted so as best to accomplish the objectives of the original provision to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions of these t&c shall remain in effect. You may not assign any of your rights or obligations hereunder, whether by operation of law or otherwise, without the prior written consent of the organiser. The organiser may assign these t&c, in whole or in part, as necessary for the execution of the event without your consent and at its sole discretion. Subject to the foregoing, these t&c shall bind and inure to the benefit of the parties, their respective successors and permitted assigns. These t&c constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the event and supersede all prior and contemporaneous terms, agreements, proposals or representations, written or oral, concerning its subject matter.
  • 31. Amendment: the organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time and attendees will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time.

STEP 3: Please review the T&C before registering. These terms govern your attendance at and participation in any event owned and/or operated by the organizer. By completing the registration you are warranting that you are aware and have accepted the terms and conditions listed here.

REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These terms govern your attendance at and participation in any event owned and/or operated by the organiser. By completing the registration you are warranting that you are aware of these terms and that you have accepted these terms. Tickets are subject to availability and may close earlier than the posted deadline, as determined by the organiser's sole discretion.

  • 1. Registration Confirmation: to register for the event, you must complete the registration process and pay the registration fee. Once your payment is received, you will receive your registration confirmation by email. Please ensure your valid email is entered correctly on the registration form. Be sure to check your junk email box in case any of your email(s) are caught by spam filters. You bear the risk of loss, theft, misappropriation or damage of the ticket after sending you the confirmation e-mail, and are therefore advised to save the confirmation e-mail carefully. By registering and accepting any discounts, gifts, or items of value related to the event (including free or discounted attendance), you certify that you are able to do so in compliance with applicable laws and the internal rules of your organization.
  • 2. Registrant Information: all GIDS attendees must be registered on the registration site. All information entered into the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. All information must be entered in English. You are responsible for choosing to submit a registration form and the organiser is not liable for any errors in submission, payment, or ticket processing.
  • 3. Communication Address: all payments are to be made in favor of 'Saltmarch Media (India) Pvt. Ltd.'   • 4. Payment Terms: in order to qualify for any discounted rate, full and clear payment must be received before the deadline date. Payment for Hatching Bird Pass must be received by 23 December 2019. Payment for all Early Bird Passes must be received by 24 February 2021. For all Standard Passes, payment must be received prior to the event. At the event venue, only payments via cash or credit card (online) will be accepted. Prices for each event, where applicable, are correct at the time of publication; the organiser reserves the right to change the prices at any time but such changes will not affect registrations that are already confirmed.
  • 5. Payment Linked Confirmation: your registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full. If payment in full is not received before the event, the organiser reserves the right at its sole discretion and without liability either to require payment as a condition of entry to the event or to refuse entry to the event; no refunds of any proportion of fees already paid (if any) will be made and any balance of the fees will remain due and payable where entry to an event is refused.
  • 6. Payment Method: all payment must be made in Indian Rupees. Four types of fee payment are accepted: credit/debit card payments, bank wire transfer, cheque and demand draft. DD/cheques should be made in favor of 'Saltmarch Media (India) Pvt. Ltd' payable at Bangalore. If you wish to pay by purchase order (PO), fill this form for further assistance. When choosing to pay by check or by way of PO, you will need to supply a date that we should expect the check. Full and clear payment is required before the event. You represent and warrant that you and your financial institution(s) used to fund any fees required for the event are not subject to sanctions or otherwise designated on any list of prohibited or restricted parties, or owned or controlled by such a party.
  • 7. Invoice & Payment: if you need an invoice with GST details, choose "Need tax invoice" under the Payment Method option when you make your payment via the online registration portal (Townscript, Explara). An administration fee of 800 INR + GST will be added to the invoice. Invoices are processed manually and will be sent to the buyers e-mail address within 15-20 working days. For offline payments, invoice requests have to be received no later than 4 weeks prior to the event to allow time for processing and payment. All invoices have to be paid in full before the event in order for the delegate to receive a badge and be allowed into the event. Tickets purchased during the last 4 weeks before the event have to be made via the online registration portal (Townscript, Explara).
  • 8. Cancellation: registrations to the summit have a strict no cancellation policy. If you are unsure of your availability for the event, we advise you to not register until you are able to block the date in your calendar. Confirmed attendees who do not attend are liable for the entire fee. No-show registrations will not be refunded. Unpaid cancellations for the event will be billed for the appropriate fee. Kindly note no refund will be made and the organiser is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a transfer, substitution, alteration and/or cancellation/postponement of an event. Any fees incurred by cancellations of related commitments, including but not limited to travel and hotel reservations, are not the organiser's responsibility. The organiser assumes no liability whatsoever if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to fortuitous event/force majeure circumstances/unforeseen occurrence or any other event beyond the control of the organiser that renders performance of the event impracticable, illegal or impossible. The organiser's decision in this regard is final and binding.
  • 9. Registration Substitution: all substitution requests must be received by email [in writing] before 1600 Hrs, 10 April (cc: inbound@developersummit.com). Substitutions will not be accepted after the deadline. Registration substitutions are permitted only between employees from the same company and of the same registration type. Tickets may not be sold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any other way and doing so may result in rendering the ticket null and void without any responsibility to the organiser.
  • 10. Corporate (Group) Registration: (1) all group registrants must be employed by the same company (2) payment for group registration must be made on a single invoice.
  • 11. Third party & group Registration: if you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you are authorized by that person to make the booking, and that the person has confirmed their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. You acknowledge and agree that both you and the person for whom you are making the booking will be bound by the payment and attendance terms and conditions mentioned herein. You also acknowledge and agree to provide details of the delegates in the required format as requested by the event. The organiser is not liable for the consequences or damages directly or indirectly ensuing from incorrect, misleading, imprecise or incomplete information either contained in the registration form or based on any other details furnished by a partner/participant; the organiser reserves the right to refuse to consider inadequately or not fully completed registration forms or registration forms submitted later than the date specified. The organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel tickets, registrations, or orders and to limit order quantity.
  • 12. Visa Requirement: it is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of any government visa requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa should allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. The organiser will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants or provide any other assistance relating to visa issues. Failure to obtain a visa in advance of the event does not constitute a valid basis for obtaining a refund.
  • 13. Data Use: you will receive essential information for registered attendees electronically at the email address and mailing address provided on your registration form. Some of the information entered (such as name and company), will be displayed on the attendee badge. All registration and attendee information you provide for the event will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Statement, which can be found here. All registrants agree to allow the organiser to contact them regarding their registration, attendance at the event and allow the organiser to send email communications regarding the event. You will also be added to the attendee list for notifications of future events. Registrant contact information may be shared and used by the organiser, or sponsors or exhibitors at the show, according to its own privacy and others' policies.
  • 14. Admittance at Event Venue and Badges: for check-in please carry a print of the payment receipt and registration number for the event, and your name & photo ID (government issued license, passport, or other forms of identification; copies will not be accepted). Please make sure to register using the name that matches the government-issued photo ID you will be presenting when you check in to the venue. If you do not have proper identification, you won't be able to receive a badge and will not be admitted into the event. Once the badge is handed over on site, it cannot be changed, sold, substituted, shared, transferred, reissued, bartered, given or otherwise provided to a different person. Doing so may result in event staff rendering the ticket null and void without any responsibility to the organiser. Badges may contain NFC or other RFID technologies to help us serve attendees, determine participation in various sessions and activities, and connect you with sponsors or exhibitors. The organiser is not responsible for any badges or property that are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed at the event. Your badge may be invalidated by the organiser if any portion has been removed, altered or defaced, or the organiser suspects that you have altered your badge in any way. If an attendee badge is lost, a replacement will only be issued at the current on site rate ('at-the-door' pricing).
  • 15. Intellectual Property: the possession of a confirmed ticket, badge or admission to an event does not grant you permission to use any intellectual property, including logo, website, trademark or any other proprietary right of the event or any third party, such as other guests or speakers at the event.
  • 16. Restricted Event Access: attendees (including delegates, exhibitors, booth staff, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and speakers) are not permitted to bring guests to the conference or related events. If you have someone traveling with you, they will need to register themselves and purchase an attendee ticket. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend the event. No one under this age, including children in strollers accompanying their parents, will be admitted. Attendance is not allowed by residents of embargoed countries, individuals ordinarily residing in embargoed countries, or individuals otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls, visa restrictions and sanctions programs.
  • 17. Film and Video Consent: for promotional purposes, the organiser hires photographers and videographers to document the event. This material may include attendees' voice, image or likeness. You agree the organiser may use, reproduce, distribute, alter, prepare derivative works of, display, perform, or otherwise exploit such photographs, audio and/or video, including those that may contain your voice, image or likeness, for any purpose on a worldwide basis in perpetuity, without any compensation to you or further approval, and you release the organiser from all liability related thereto.
  • 18. Program Content: all views expressed by speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, and information they share are their own. The organisers do not accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by anyone at the show or in any material provided to delegates. All intellectual property rights in and to the summit, the event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the show are owned by the organiser, or the sponsors/exhibitors or speakers presenting at the show. Attendees may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any intellectual property, trademarks or other trade names appearing at the event, in any event content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the event for any reason without the prior written permission of the organiser. Accordingly, any and all information provided to you is solely for information only, and is not a commitment to deliver any material, code, or functionality and should not be relied upon in making purchasing decisions. The development, release, and timing of any features described remains at the sole discretion of the presenter (including speaker/sponsor/exhibitor). You are cautioned not to place undue reliance on these forward-looking statements, which reflect opinions only as of the date they are made. Please keep in mind that the presenter is not obligating itself to revise or publicly release the results of any revision to these forward-looking statements in light of new information or future events.
  • 19. Program Revision: all speakers/sessions are published on the event web site following written confirmation/acceptance from the respective speaker(s). While the organiser will make all reasonable efforts to ensure speaker appearance at the show, the organiser cannot guarantee the appearance of all published speakers owing to reasons beyond the organiser's control and the organiser accepts no liability for these, and neither party, nor any representative shall be liable for any payment and/or refunds. It may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances to alter the content, timing, speakers or venue. The organiser reserves the right at any time to postpone, change the format, alter, add, substitute, cancel sessions or modify the advertised program and, if necessary, participants, content, location and timing of the event or any other aspect of the event, without prior notice, in each case without liability for any reason whether or not due to causes beyond its reasonable control. The organiser accepts no liability in respect of any loss of enjoyment, wasted expenditures or damage, whether direct, consequential or otherwise arising from any delay in providing the event or change of venue.   • 20. Websites and Links: the event and associated sites may link to other sites and networking tools, the content for which are maintained by their owners, for which the organiser takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any site linking to the summit web site.
  • 21. Onsite Conduct: at all event venues and event-related social events attendees are expected to help keep the event welcoming, respectful and friendly to all participants. Any form of written, social media or verbal communication that can be offensive or harassing to any attendee, speaker or staff will not be tolerated. Attendees must comply with the instructions of the crew and venue staff at all times when attending the event. They must comply with all event signs and notices while at the venue. If a participant (including delegates, exhibitors, booth staff, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and speakers) engages in harassing behavior, the organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.
  • 22. Restricted Photography, No Videography, Filming, Live Streaming and Social Media: attendees are encouraged to share their event experiences through social media. Photographs may be taken by participants within the event venue's public areas, such as lobbies and corridors and meeting rooms, provided that such activities do not disrupt the activities or movements of participants or the security provisions of that area. Attendees may take pictures within the show for purposes of company reports or internal company media materials. Filming (video, audio or any other recording) or broadcasting will be deemed a breach of copyright. You are not permitted to take professional photographic or video equipment or wearable recording devices into the event venues. In addition, you may not use selfie sticks or similar monopods, drones, or transport devices not medically required within the event venue. Any attendee conducting these activities may be removed from the event premises.
  • 23. Visible wearing of Badge, Security Requisite: all attendees must have a badge and badge holder visible on their person at all times. If requested by event staff or security, attendees may be required to provide additional identification. Both the badge and badge holder are required for entry at all event venues and both will incur a replacement fee if a duplicate of either is requested. Lost, misplaced, stolen, or forgotten badges will incur a replacement fee equal to the original purchase amount of your pass. All event badges are the property of the organiser and must be returned upon request. Event registration is non-transferable on site; registration badges are only valid for the named individual on the badge. Attendees wearing badges from previous events or falsified badges and/or sharing or swapping badges will be immediately expelled from the event and banned from future events. The organiser considers such conduct theft of service, trespassing, and fraud and will report violators to law enforcement authorities. If such conduct is discovered after an event, violators will be invoiced according to onsite registration pricing and will be required to pay their invoice in full in order to avoid being reported to law enforcement authorities.
  • 24. Safety Requirement: as a security measure, the organiser may be randomly checking bags onsite for the event. No bags or property should be left unattended at any time. Unattended property may be removed. Attendees should not leave the designated event areas except in the case of an emergency evacuation. All purchases from traders or exhibitors are direct transactions between the seller and attendee; the organiser accepts no liability for any merchandise, foodstuffs or other items purchased at the event. Attendees may not connect to or otherwise interfere with the venue's electrical sockets or data network except in authorized areas. The organiser reserves the right to revoke attendance at any time; serious breaches of event policy will result in those involved being asked to leave the event and no refund will be given. The organiser reserves the right to take any security measures it deems appropriate to increase the safety of attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors, without prior notice. The organiser reserves the right to change the policies set forth herein, without prior notice, and has sole discretion to deny entry to anyone.
  • 25. Physical Activities and Participant Consent: by participating in physical activities at the event (such as group games, brisk walking) you certify that you are in good health and are physically capable to proceed with any intense physical activity and that you have no impediment that would endanger you while participating. You understand that any physical activity involves a risk of injury, and, by choosing to participate, you volunteer to do so with full understanding of the dangers involved and assume all risks which may be associated with and/or result from your participation in such physical activities. You agree not to participate if you are ill or unwell. Should you feel unwell or uncomfortable during the physical activity, it is your responsibility to stop. You voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the organiser, its employees, representatives, agents, directors, officers, and any of its third-party providers from all liability, claims, or actions for any losses, injuries, or damages suffered by you as a result of participation in physical activities while at the event. This release or waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature, whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown, arising out of or related to the physical activity at the event site.
  • 26. Insurance: the organiser is not liable for any loss, liability or damage to attendee property or person while, prior to, on location or in transit to or from the event. Participants may arrange for appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the event.
  • 27. Ethics, Non-Compliant Business Practices, No soliciting: the organiser reserves the right to deny admission to anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant business practices, including soliciting business or selling of items or services to other attendees, speakers and exhibitors. For the good of sponsors supporting the show, the only legitimate place to conduct business during event hours is within a contracted exhibit space on the event floor. Exhibiting/sponsoring companies are encouraged to protect their investment and report any violations to the organiser. Attendees observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or in another company's booth, or distributing publicity materials during the event anywhere within the vicinity of the event or anywhere else within the event venue, will be ejected from the event and may be banned from future events based on the organiser's sole discretion.
  • 28. Conflict of Interest: you certify that you have confirmed with an appropriate ethics official that there are no federal, state, local, or institutional ethics or procurement laws, regulations, or rules that restrict or prohibit your attendance at the event or would otherwise create a conflict of interest for the organiser. The organiser has full rights to disallow entry of attendees who might be found to have a potential conflict of interest with the organiser's business. The decision by the organiser in this regard is final and binding. If you or your organization's profile is competitive in nature to the organiser's businesses, please refrain from registering for the show. No claims for refund will be entertained.
  • 29. Exclusion of Liability: you agree to be solely responsible for your own safety, belongings, and well-being while participating in the event. The organiser excludes all liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property at the event. All indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions (whether express or implied) are excluded. The organiser accepts no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever that you may suffer in connection with or arising from the event whether direct, indirect or consequential (including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business or any other type of economic loss) or otherwise. You (for yourself, your heirs, dependents, personal representatives, assigns, and anyone else who might make a claim on your behalf or as a result of your death or injury) hereby release the organiser and its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, damages, losses, debts, liabilities, costs and expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) that you may have now or in the future associated in any way with the event or the items. You acknowledge and agree that your attendance and participation in the event is voluntary, and you understand the nature of the event. You voluntarily assume all risk and danger incidental to attending the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the event, and the organiser is not liable for any resulting harm, including death, personal injury, loss, damage or any other liability. The organiser has no liability to attendees and hereby disclaims any and all warranties of any kind, express or implied for the event. Admission to the event may also be subject to additional conditions of admission to the venues used for conference events. In the event the organiser is liable to you for any reason, its total liability to you in relation to the event (whether under these terms or conditions or otherwise) is limited to the amount of the registration fee paid by you for the event only.
  • 30. General: all terms and conditions (t&c), and any disputes arising out of or related hereto, shall be governed exclusively by the internal laws of the state in the country in which the organiser's company is head quartered and controlling law in said country, without regard to their conflicts of laws rules or the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods. The said state has exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising out of or relating to these t&c. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waive any right to jury trial in connection with any action or litigation in any way arising out of or related to these t&c. You agree to the applicable governing law above without regard to choice or conflicts of law rules, and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts. These t&c and the activities governed hereby, do not create a partnership, franchise, joint venture, agency, fiduciary or employment relationship between the parties. There are no third-party beneficiaries to these t&c. No failure or delay by either party in exercising any right under these t&c shall constitute a waiver of that right. If any provision in these t&c is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, the provision shall be modified by the court and interpreted so as best to accomplish the objectives of the original provision to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions of these t&c shall remain in effect. You may not assign any of your rights or obligations hereunder, whether by operation of law or otherwise, without the prior written consent of the organiser. The organiser may assign these t&c, in whole or in part, as necessary for the execution of the event without your consent and at its sole discretion. Subject to the foregoing, these t&c shall bind and inure to the benefit of the parties, their respective successors and permitted assigns. These t&c constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the event and supersede all prior and contemporaneous terms, agreements, proposals or representations, written or oral, concerning its subject matter.
  • 31. Amendment: the organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time and attendees will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time.
